Sacred Heart School’s curriculum is aligned to the standards of the state of California and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
Instruction is given in the core areas of Religion, Math, Social Studies, Science, and English Language Arts. In order to educate the whole student, classes in Music, Art, and Physical Education are given weekly. Technology is incorporated across the curriculum through our 1-to-1 iPad and Chromebook program, adaptive learning programs such as Freckle, Envision Math, and No Red Ink, and the learning platforms of Google Classroom (for our older students) and SeeSaw (for our younger learners).
Beginning in the 2021-2022 academic year, our school entered the Dual Language Network of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Our dual immersion, Spanish and English program, will grow each year until we are a full immersion program TK through 8th grade. In the 2023-2024 school year, our dual immersion program will extend from TK to 2nd grade. You can learn more about our program here: Sacred Heart Dual Language Program
