On Saturday, March 10th, students chosen from among our very own Junior High participated in the annual Catholic Schools Academic Decathlon. Over a hundred Catholic schools within the Archdiocese of Los Angeles competed for academic honors in such subjects as mathematics, literature, current events, religion, logic, social studies, fine arts, and English. Every year, the event draws dedicated students committed to working in a collaborative spirit, encourages the pursuit of scholarly excellence, and promotes logical and higher order thinking for our students. We would like to congratulate Sophia Fuentes, Jonathan Hall, Christopher Lopez, Cameron Martinez, Emily Muñoz, Jacquelyne Osornio, Jacqueleen Quintero, Danielle Ramirez, and Mario Zepeda for their dedication and efforts in preparing for this competition and in representing our school.
